Coach Knight
Coach Knight began coaching Cross Country at Bridge City as an assistant during the 1999 Cross Country season. Prior to coaching in Bridge City, he lettered in Cross Country (4yrs) and Track (3yrs) at Bridge City High School. Coach Knight graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Knight is married and has a son, and a daughter. Coach Knight took over the program in 2006. Coach Knight replaced Coach Miller, who was one of the most successful coaches in the Golden Triangle during his tenure. Coach Miller took his girls to state in 2003 and took his boys to state for four years in a row, including a state title and two runner-ups (2002 - 2005). Coach Miller leaves some big shoes for Coach Knight to try and fill.
